Add brandy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Crumble cake into bowl and layer with jam/brandy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pour custard on.  Fridge for a day or two.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add lots of cream on top. Cold milk&lt;br /&gt;half tablespoon salt&lt;br /&gt;half tablespoon pepper&lt;br /&gt;five extra large eggs&lt;br /&gt;2 1/3 cups Swiss cheese&lt;br /&gt;3 tbsp. minced chives&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Preheat oven to 400°.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Melt butter, add flour, cook to a light roux.  Add milk, cook until thickened.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add cheese, pepper, salt and mix.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add beaten eggs and chives. Add onion + garlic fry for no more than 2min.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add to dal. Add liquid to cover.  Bring back to boil.  &lt;br /&gt;As liquid evaporates add more.
